🧠 National Stroke Week 🧠
From Monday the 3rd of August to Sunday the 9th of August, it is National Stroke Week. We encourage everyone to take a moment to learn the signs of stroke—it could help save a life.
Remember the F.A.S.T. test:
- Face – Has their face dropped on one side?
- Arms – Can they lift both arms?
- Speech – Is their speech slurred or difficult to understand?
- Time – If you notice any of these signs, call 000 immediately.
A stroke is a medical emergency. Acting quickly can significantly improve a person's chance of recovery and reduce the risk of long-term disability.

Today we recognise World Hepatitis Day and raise awareness about viral hepatitis and the importance of prevention, testing and treatment.
Hepatitis can affect anyone, and many people may not realise they have it because symptoms aren’t always obvious. Early detection can make a big difference.
